Crab Seasons Announced

WDFW has announced that the crab season opener locally will once again be July 1.  This includes Areas 6, 8-1, 8-2, most of 9, 10 and 13.  The season  will run through Labor Day September 4.  Crabbing will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Most of Area 7 will open July 15 through September 30 and be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  To crab you need a shellfish license or a combination license along with the Puget Sound crab endorsement and crab catch record card. Kids 14 and under crab for free but still need the free catch record card.  Remember all catch record cards need to be turned in or reported online by October 1 to avoid a $10 penalty next year.

We offer all the crab pots and gear that a person needs for crabbing.  We specialize in offering a nice selection of pots at competitive prices.  Also all our pots are offered individually or at a cost saving full kit discount.  You can see our options on our online store.
