Our 2020 Bass Seminar is set for Saturday April 4 from 9:30 - 3:00 at the Snohomish Boys and Girls Club. If you're a bass enthusiast you won't want to miss this free event. Not only will you see two great speakers but you'll get a chance to talk with vendors, reps from bass and other fishing clubs, see some tackle, watch demos from our demo tank (weather permitting) and get served lunch all for free! Even though this is a free event, we will be taking free will donations with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club. There are only about 60 parking spaces so car pooling is advisable. There is also pretty good parking on the streets around the club. We are hopeful of a crowd around 200 people. This event also ties in with our annual "Kickin' Bass Days Sale" that runs from March 30 to April 6. All our bass lures will be on sale as well as selected rods, reels, combos and accessories. We will extend our hours that weekend and allow seminar attendees a few extra days to shop the sale. Seminar site is one block from our store making it real easy to walk from the club to our store to shop.

Surely the highlight of the seminar will be speakers Jordan Doucet and PJ Koshi, a couple of the states finest tournament fishermen. Doucet, a Snohomish native, is a 4 time Washington ABA Angler of the Year, 2 time Potholes Open Champion, creator of WAFISH.com and a winner of dozens of tournaments around the state. Koshi also has many tournament wins including 3 time WAFISH.com Open winner and a WBA Angler of the Year award. Not only are these two great fishermen but also are excellent speakers. They plan on having three sessions running about 30 to 40 minutes each. These will be spring largemouth techniques, spring and summer smallmouth techniques, and summer largemouth techniques. Sure to be a hit and something you won't want to miss. Bring a pen and notebook; I'm sure there's plenty of great info for you to take from this.

We are planning on creating a demo tank for Jordan and PJ to pitch some lures in and talk about actions and how to best make them work. Because this must be outside, the demo tank is weather dependent.

Between sessions we will have raffle drawings for prizes followed by short breaks. We will break for lunch after session two. Free lunch includes bar-b-que beef hot dogs, assorted chips and bottled water. Please keep food and drink out of the gym. We have been asked about age limit for kids. There is no age limit but know that they should be able to handle up to about 40 minutes of quiet time. Seating will include bleachers, folding chairs and an area for those who wish to stand. Smaller children may sit in front on the floor if they desire for better views.

Also included in the days events will be tables/booths for tackle vendors, a couple of bass clubs, a couple of other fish clubs and Triangle Bait and Tackle. If there are others who would like to display please contact us to see if it's workable. The speakers should finish about 1:00 and then we'll finish with prize giveaways (everyone will walk away with something) and there will be time to check out the booths and demo tank.

We are asking you to pre-register with us for this event to help us with the food count and also gets you a raffle ticket for our prize drawings. You can register by stopping in the store, giving us a call or on our Facebook page. If you register via Facebook, we will reply back to you. If you get no reply within 24 hours, please try again. If you have people who want to come at the last minute, it's ok. They will get be able to take in the whole day but will not be included in the raffle drawings.

We will check you in at the gym when you arrive beginning at 9:30. You will get a raffle ticket and an agenda of the days events with a voucher at the bottom for use at our sale. Restrooms are available just outside the gym down the main hall.

We hope to see you there! It's shaping up to be a fantastic event and hope everyone has a great time.

Thanks! Jim Strege, Owner Triangle Bait and Tackle
